Global Knowledge Honored for Microsoft Lync Course Development

Global Knowledge has won an Award of Merit from the Carolina Committee of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) for its development of an advanced Microsoft Lync course.

STC, a professional association dedicated to the advancement of technical communication, recognizes organizations for consistently meeting high design standards and for applying technical communication principles in a highly proficient manner. The group honored Global Knowledge’s development of Microsoft Lync 2013 Depth Support Engineer, an advanced-level course created for support engineers to effectively troubleshoot Lync Server 2013.

The award-winning course was developed by subject matter experts Richard Luckett and Allan Jacobs and instructional designer Evan Harrison. They created compelling advanced Microsoft courseware that enabled Lync support engineers to easily comprehend and gain the skills needed – beyond just design and deployment – to successfully troubleshoot Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

It’s so rewarding to see the efforts of Evan, Richard and Allan recognized by their peers as superior work.” Abbasi accepted the award at the STC Carolina Committee’s Awards Banquet earlier this year.
